Atari发行、Frontier开发的《过山车大亨3》的资料片《过山车大亨3：水上乐园》于今日上市。《过山车大亨3：水上乐园》是着名的模拟经营游戏《过山车大亨3》的水上公园版资料片，这款资料片增加了50种新型水上娱乐项目，超过12种新型水上过山车，8个新的关，新的挑战等，《水上乐园》充满了新奇的元素。
在这款新资料片中吸引眼球的元素很多，比如水族馆、水滑道以及水渠、游泳馆，还有一种新型的过山车叫做下雨过山车。水族馆之间通过水道连接，水族馆的生物们可以自由地在各个馆内游弋，并且，每个生物的身上都有一小块牌子，写着该种生物的信息，馆内的游客可以停下来去读一读。玩家还可以将游客通过某些方式相混合，让整个乐园处于一种交叉式立体化体系中。如果你将游泳池里面放入几只老鼠，你就可以看到小游客尖叫的混乱场面。你还可以控制下雨过山车把下面的游客浇个透心凉，还可以将喷水枪安装在公园内，向公园的游客扫射，将他们像保龄球瓶一样打散。
玩家可以让海豚和虎鲸在乐园中表演水上体操，你需要控制驯养员指挥两种动物来做动作。你可以以鲸鱼的视角来参与到演出中，比如表演空翻等动作，甚至还可以做乞讨的动作向驯养员要鱼吃。如果你在前作中尝试过烟花表演，那么在资料片中，你将尝试到激光表演等等，这都足以使你的游客们流连忘返。瀑布当然是必不可少的，你可以连接两个不同高度的水平面，造出美丽的瀑布来。在游戏进行足够长的时间后，你的水族馆中将会有更多种类的水族定居，包括各种鱼类和鲨鱼。
由于《过山车大亨3：水上乐园》是一个充满水的世界，所以游戏中的水的图像效果和物理效果就极其重要，以笔者的观察来看，水的效果做得很不错。泛着涟漪的游泳池能清楚地表现波浪和漩涡，各种各样的喷水枪、相对平静的瀑布以及瀑布底下飘起的薄雾都很真实，当你把自己的视角拉近时，你甚至可以看到你的镜头上溅上了几滴水点，近距离的特写镜头中的水仍然表现不俗。总之，游戏开发者们在水上面下了很大的工夫，力求给玩家们展示一个尽可能真实的水上世界。
